They have weathered many a tough trading time during economic uncertainty, global pandemics and triumphed - but everyone needs a bigger stage to survive.
The Shop Local movement exists globally, connecting groups of like-minded citizens concerned about our future, working with their local communities and finding sustainable alternatives to what they do.
About Elisabeth
Elisabeth Ric Hansen been in retail for 20+ years working across marketing, ecommerce, ranging and store design. Elisabeth runs a marketing and communications agency, stok.communications specialising in building and growing SMEs
Once Was A Store
In 2020 Elisabeth took the idea of stok. and opened a little store in the Parnell Village, Auckland, New Zealand. Sadly due to covid, the concept of a physical store was 'mothballed' for now and stok.nz continues online only.

Like our designers and suppliers, we appreciate excellent design and the hard work and tenacity it takes for small businesses to keep doing it on their own.
